Sinem Yılmaz Demir is an English Language instructor at Bogazici University School of Foreign Languages (SFL). She has worked as an instructor and academic coordinator at SFL since 2008. She graduated from the ELT department at Marmara University in 2006 and she earned her MA degree at the Bogazici University Foreign Languages Education Department in 2010 with her thesis research focused on learner autonomy and the European Language Portfolio. She has presented several papers in various conferences in Turkey and abroad. Her research interests relate to learner autonomy, using the CEFR and ELP, and language learning technologies.

Pınar Demirci graduated from Gazi University’s English Language Teaching Department, and received her MA degree from Hacettepe University in 2010. She has been actively teaching English in different universities for 9 years. She has worked as a teacher and academic coordinator at Boğaziçi University School of Foreign Languages. Her interests include written corrective feedback, cognitive linguistics and more recently, medicinal and aromatic plants.

Fetiye Erbil graduated from Foreign Language Education Department of Boğaziçi University in 2011 and received her MA degree in Primary Education Department. She is currently a PhD student at the Learning Sciences Program of the same university. She has been teaching English in different universities where she has hold positions as coordinator, department head and material & test developer. She has recently joined School of Foreign Languages at Boğaziçi University.

Her research interests include children’s rights, participation of children and young people in school decisions, democratic education, educational policy, research with children, social justice and equality in education and teacher training.

Elifcan ATA KIL is an English Language Instructor in the School of Foreign Languages at Boğaziçi University in Turkey. She received her B.A. degree from Boğaziçi University, Department of Foreign Language Education in 2008. She completed her M.A. degree in English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University in 2015. She also holds a CELTA certificate from Cambridge Assessment English. She has taught academic and general English in Turkey and in Japan at various age and proficiency levels. She is interested in English language teacher education and professional development.

Ahu Ersözlü received her BA and MA degrees from Hacettepe University’s English Language and Literature program. She has worked as an EFL teacher, teacher trainer, Curriculum Committee member and coordinator, academic coordinator, and assistant director at various universities for twenty+ years since she first received her BA in 1994. She has been working at Boğaziçi University SFL for the past fourteen years. Her interests include professional development and management in ELT as well as fantasy literature with a special focus on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien.
